3 Fantastic Things on Other Blogs

3 Fantastic Things on Other Blogs

How was your day? Today I cut quilt squares (and my finger) and entered numerous Goodreads giveaways. 😀 More importantly I’ve put together this round-up of fantastic-things-on-other-blogs that you should go see.

Do you ever look at your list of books to read and nearly faint? Maybe even despair that you will never finish them all? And then you find that most of those books are ones you don’t want to even read anyway? Rebekah Morris from Read Another Page posted “7 Ways I Keep My To-Read List Low”. This is pretty much the same “vetting process” I send all prospective books through myself, and I thought she did a great job breaking it down. 😉 (It’s time to pare my Goodreads TBR down again. 247 books is probably too many…)

No one is more qualified to write this article than Faith Blum, an author who manages to write quite a bit even while wedding planning! She has some helpful, proven, and encouraging tips in her post “Writing During Busy Times” on Wordquill. (Seriously, this lady is a ninja and proves we can be too!)

This title is no joke! Sarah Holman‘s August Amazingness event has been pretty fun so far. 😉 And I picked up the next two books in her Destiny Series in ebook form for FREE. (I don’t know how long it will last, but it looks like they are still on sale.) *huge grin* I will definitely be following her blog The Destiny of One closely this month since she is one of my favorite authors.

Is your TBR overloaded? Do you like free books? Should those two questions be asked so close together? 😀

Have a great weekend!

    1. I’m all right. It was just one of those moments where I suddenly learned exactly how people cut themselves with the rotary cutter. 😉

You’re welcome! Thanks for writing it! 😉

  1. Great post! Thanks for sharing my post. I see books and I think I’d like them, but so often a review makes me close the tab without getting the book. 😦 So sad.
Yes, I’m watching Sarah’s posts too! 😀 And I should go check out Faith’s post as sometimes my writing drops by the wayside when life gets busy.
