You Are So Loved

You Are So Loved

Happy Chocolate (and Love!) Day! πŸ˜€

Because I’m single, today doesn’t mean a lot to me personally, but it’s been really sweet to see everyone else’s celebrations. To my sister who shared the story of her relationship with her husband, to the fellow church member who posted pictures of her sweet baby valentine, and to the social media page who shared an adorable video compilation of military proposals–thank you. I love seeing all the love. ❀

And don’t worry, I’m not a lonely fish with no love to celebrate in my life. πŸ˜‚ I’ve been feeling the love from my family (Aimee got us all chocolate, and Dad just brought home a cheesecake ❀ ) and the love from my God. ❀

To pass on some of that love, I’m giving away two books (+some cool goodies) that are technically romances but also remind me of God’s love in a big way. (And yes, I wrote one of them, but honestly it’s got some stuff I need to hear too. πŸ˜‚ )

In this giveaway…

  • A signed copy of Kiera
  • A paperback copy of Heartless by Anne Elisabeth Stengl (a.k.a. the book Kiera returned to Brennan on her birthday ❀ )
  • A really cute gray crate
  • “you are so loved” sign
  • Faux plant
  • Unmeltable candy (type TBD πŸ˜‚ )

ENTER HERE

Have a great day, and know that you are loved! ❀

  1. Happy Valentine’s Day Kate! What a fun giveaway. Now to answer the questions. One of my favorite hymns that reminds me of God’s love is O Sacred Head Now Wounded. As for romance books, I don’t read those. But I love reading God’s love story to me, the Bible. πŸ™‚

    Love,
    Ashley

  3. I agree: Valentine’s Day is a great opportunity to celebrate all kinds of love, not just romantic love! My friend recently introduced me to Now by Charlie Rey, which is a beautiful reminder that God loves me even when I’m not perfect. Perfectionist that I am, it’s exactly what I need to hear.

  4. Greensleeves by Eloise Jarvis McGraw is the most romantic novel on my favorites list. It’s unresolved like the song in the title and bittersweet as dark chocolate.

  5. I’m absolutely adoring this giveaway! I’ve been drooling over both of these books for a while now, and the extra goodies are so awesome!
I love the “Good Good Father” song. It definitely hits home on how much God loves me. How about you, Kate?

    1. Aw, yay! πŸ˜€

ACK! I love that song. ❀ I just love it every time we get to sign it in church. πŸ˜‰ I have a lot of songs that help me feel God's love, but off the top of my head "Who You Say I Am" and Andrew Peterson's albums are what remind me.

And I’ll have to check out that song and album you listed. They sound great!!
I saw that you wanted to know what our favorite romance novel was. I think mine is the Rose Trilogy by Beverly Lewis. You?

  6. Hey Kate, Happy *day late* Valentine’s Day! I loved hearing about the hymns everyone listed above; my two favorite worship songs (at the moment) are ‘Glorious Day’ by Casting Crowns, and ‘He Will Not Let Go’, by Laura Story (both are very encouraging to hear). And honestly, I could become ‘lost’ in Hobby Lobby all day too. They have so many cool things. I hope you have a wonderful day, and God bless. πŸ™‚

  7. Eeek, lovely! Happy Valentine’s Day a day late!!!

I have been horrid about commenting on blog posts lately, *sighs* I need to do better about it, especially when I love the posts like this one. ❀ Who doesn't love giveaways with a book that is on their wish list!

P.S. I LOVE Ryan Stevenson's Eye of the Storm, it has almost become my theme song lately.

  9. ❀ One of my favorite songs that reminds me of God's love is the hymn How Firm a Foundation – it reminds me He is always caring for us, being that firm foundation we so desperately need.
    Thanks for a wonderful giveaway!!

  10. My favorite song that reminds me about God’s love is probably I Will Sing of Your Love Forever. There are so many good ones tho!

My favorite romance novel…hmmm… I haven’t read any actual romances but I have read stories where people fall in love and/or get married. So…hmm…I really like the romance story between Anne and Gilbert in Anne of Green Gables (or at least I’ve always imagined they end up getting married.) πŸ˜‰ There is also a cool romantic ending to the Viking Quest Series. Ishmael and it’s sequel Self-Raised also have very amazing romance woven in. πŸ™‚

    1. Great choice! πŸ˜€

That kind counts and is honestly my favorite. XD I prefer stories where there’s more of a plot than just the romance. πŸ˜€ Nice picks! Oh, I’ve read Viking Quest. Devin was always my favorite. πŸ˜‰

  11. One of my favorite songs that reminds me of God’s love is an old hymn: The Love of God. I LOVE the third verse: “Could we with ink the ocean fill / and were the skies of parchment made / Were every stalk on earth a quill / and every man a scribe by trade / to write the love of God above / would drain the ocean dry / nor could the scroll contain the whole / though stretched from sky to sky.”
