I’m Crazy (About This Project)

I’m Crazy (About This Project)

Camp NaNoWriMo has been a key factor in me finishing my books, so I signed up to do this July’s session again. I joined a cabin, set a 10,000 word goal, and made a tentative game plan for my next project.

Fast forward to it actually being July, and I’ve been happily swamped by the aftermath of a book release and a booth at the homeschool convention. I did manage to read through my first draft and take notes, as well as read the first book in this series and take notes on that for continuity. But no writing…

Until July 18th when I decided it was a good idea to finally start on my project! XD Yep, I’m crazy.

But as my cheesy title suggests, I’m really crazy about this project too. 😀

Reasons…

  1. It’s a sequel to The Twin Arrows. Eeeep! First time writing a sequel. 😀
  2. Gavynn, my main character. He’s surprising me, and I love it.
  3. THEMES.
  4. Archers, again! More this time.
  5. A Sir Larkin (and Drewin) cameo.

It’s been so much fun getting back into this project after six months off, and so far it’s been an easy rewrite. 😉 It’s been dubbed “Legend” for a while now, but the story has grown beyond that and needs a better title soon. I’m 5,000 or so words through rewrites, so prayers appreciated as I continue! 😀

    1. It’s been going well the last few days! 😉 Aw, sorry! That’s no fun. 😦 Watch a cheesy TV show, and you’ll want to change it, and that will put you back in a creative mood? (I’m so full of writer’s block advice, aren’t I? 😛 )

          2. Um, cry?? Okay, that’s a bad answer, I don’t usually cry unless my deadline is really close, and I have no ideas for writing at all. 😉 But when I have writer’s block I rest, switch projects, or brainstorm. Those are my go to things.

  1. My Camp NaNo experience has been about the same! I knew I’d have to wait until after the convention to get started, but I didn’t expect being so braindead for 3 or 4 days after. 😛

  2. Now that Camp is over I have time to read this post. 😛 And it’s exciting to know you actually reached your goal even if you started late. 🙂
