A Day in My Life As An Author…

Today after making Paleo avocado toast for breakfast ( ❤ ❤ ) and rereading Kate’s Capitol during slow spots, I got together with my oldest sister Perry Elisabeth, my brother Paul, and my sister Anna to make a live Q & A video.

It was all about our lives as authors and siblings, snacks, and some writing/publishing advice. We had so much fun together! XD You can watch the replay here, but WARNING–it’s pretty long. We had a lot of amazing questions and interaction in the comments. 😉 Y’all were great. 😀 (Also, I randomly sang theme songs.)

If you’ve been around on my blog for a while, you know I’ve been reluctant to vlog out of shyness and things, but doing it with some of my favorite people was extra fun and special. I don’t think I was nervous at all. 😀

Oh, and it was weird watching ourselves afterward. We realized our expressions are more similar than we thought. XD

The rest of my day has been spent hanging out with my sister and her family and staying on the phone with customer service to get my computer fixed. I’m gonna need it for my next project. 😉 Looks like the company will be fixing or replacing my computer, so that’s an answer to prayer! ❤

Also, Kiera just got accepted by one of my favorite reviewers, so I’m REALLY excited. 😀 I’m signing copies and getting them ready to send out when I go to the post office for the giveaway box. 😉 (That’s actually the box that’s holding the other camera in the video, so it got a small cameo.) XD

It looks like we’re going to end a day with The Man Who Invented Christmas and ice cream. 😉

Truly an author-ish day. I’m so grateful.

Me, when I say the words Camp NaNo, my sister, who also is a writer, just blanks. *facepalms* Y’all’s interacting with each other made my day! Even though technically it just started. … 😛

  2. Also, I do not mean to sound like a stalker at all, but where can I find your sister Anna’s blog? It’s kinda nice to know there’s a youngest daughter of at least five, writer and newbie blogger trying to get on from their siblings, out there, in the wide world. XD *dies*

  12. Eeep! I REALLY need a copy of “The Twin Arrows.” IT’S SO CUTE!! ❤ Also, you need to vlog more. xD It was so fun to see you. 😉 I didn't watch the whole thing yet, but I plan to! Anna has such a cute name 😉 and Perry makes me think of myself. I'm the oldest of 9 kids, I write, I like graphic design, and I'm very extroverted/friendly. 😉 I really want her Kitten Files books! Kate—I really like G.A.Henty! Ive read both of those books (and many other lol). I love “Bonnie Prince Charlie”; not very fond of Agincourt. But it was funny to hear you say it—because I've always pronounced it in French, so I had no idea how English people said it. 😉 Super video, you all. You are such a sweet family 🙂 BTW Anna, I'm 17 and I've wanted to publish since I was like 15 cause a good writing friend did . . . I still haven't and I haven't written anything worth publishing, but I'm still working at it, and I haven't given up. 😉 Go for it!! (And WW2 time-traveling would be epic. xD).

      Oh, thanks! I was nervous about doing it, but I’m glad to hear it was enjoyable. Doing it with my crazy siblings made it extra fun for me. 😀
